Charlotte Eugena Hamm

SAVANNAH – Charlotte Eugena Hamm, 89, died Wednesday, June 1st surrounded by loved ones.
She was born on September 26th, 1926 in Savannah, GA and lived in Savannah her entire life. Always the Southern lady, Charlotte loved her family, her friends, and of course, the Atlanta Braves. One could always find her side by side with her best friend Edith Louder.
A proud career woman, Charlotte spent her lifetime of work at Allied Department Stores, Karp Motors and most of all Boaen Mechanical, where she not only found an incredible company but also a loving family in Linda and Everette Boaen. Charlotte was also a loving member of the Wilmington Island United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her niece Deborah Hamm, her brother William Hamm, her nephew Lewis Breland II, and her great nieces and nephews Thomas C. Helmly IV, Courtney Breland, Lewis Breland III and Joshua Breland.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 3rd, 2016 at 2 PM at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family requests that donations be made to Hospice Care of Georgia in lieu of flowers.
